Kaz Takeda is Group Executive Vice President and President of Commerce Company of Rakuten Group, Inc. He joined Rakuten Group, Inc. in July 2006 as COO & Managing Executive Officer. Prior to joining the company, he was General Manager of the Production Management Department and HR at TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION and had worked in Europe. He earned his MBA at Harvard Business School in May 1993.
